We are looking to add two Weldersto join our Fleet Repair and Maintenance team in Winnipeg, MB. As part of our experienced and cohesive team, theWelderis responsible for performing maintenance and repairs to our fleet equipment as well as some fabrication project work. Job skills include SMAW, GMAW (steel) GMAW (aluminum) in the repair and modification of heavy trailing equipment and the fabrication of assemblies required for use with this equipment. Trailing equipment to be repaired and modified will include (but is not limited to): flat deck trailers, intermodal containers, end dump and pneumatic tank trailers, and occasional special projects. Some mechanical disassembly and reassembly of the equipment may be required in order to perform the required welding and maintenance repairs.We offer a safe and respectful work environment where you can build your career while applying your skills to a variety of technical tasks. The full-time, permanent shift offers 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.Position Requirements:Looking for some experience, either hands-on or from pre-employment programs at technical collegesMechanical aptitude to diagnose and conduct small repairs as neededPreference given to candidates with experience working on tractors/trailers or in similar environmentsStrong work ethic and attendanceMust be physically fit (able to lift approx. 50 lbs.,
