This role involves managing collective agreements, conducting workplace investigations, supporting leadership with employee relations, and overseeing recruitment, leave management, and benefits administration, all while building strong relationships with staff, leadership, and union representatives.ROLEAct as a lead resource in administering and interpreting collective agreements, resolving grievances, and participating in mediations and arbitrationsProvide coaching and guidance to leadership on performance management, workplace investigations, progressive discipline, and conflict resolutionChair Labour Management committee(s)Act as subject-matter-expert during collective bargaining negotiationsLead Pay Equity committee discussions, for assigned union groupsBuild solid relationships with leadership and union representatives to align HR strategies with organizational goals and support change management initiativesLead investigations into workplace violence, harassment, and discrimination, ensuring compliance with employment law and organizational policiesPrepare documents for arbitrations, negotiations, and settlements; review and propose updates to organizational HR policiesDevelop and deliver training and communications related to labour relations, policy updates, and collective bargaining changesResponsible for advising on internal staff recruitment activitiesEnsure internal and external staff movement is accurately tracked through HRIS, ATS,
