Registered Dental Assistant – Periodontics

Calgary, AB | 4 Days per Week

We are an established periodontal specialty practice in Calgary looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our clinical team four days per week.

We’re looking for someone who is confident in a surgical environment, takes pride in being an excellent assistant, and understands the importance of communication, professionalism and supporting the people around them.

What We’re Looking For
Registered Dental Assistant in good standing in Alberta
Strong surgical assisting skills are essential
Periodontal, oral surgery, implant or other surgical dental experience is strongly preferred
Confident with surgical setups, procedures and protocols
Able to anticipate the doctor’s needs and stay organized during busy procedures
Strong understanding of sterilization and infection prevention
Calm, skilled and reassuring with patients
Reliable and accountable
Strong communicator who handles challenges professionally
Adaptable and willing to help where needed
Positive, mature and solutions-focused approach to the workday





About the Role This is a four-day-per-week position working closely with a periodontist and the clinical team. The role includes surgical assisting, operatory setup and turnover, sterilization, patient preparation and education, clinical documentation, and helping maintain an productive flow throughout the day.

Our patients are often coming to us for procedures that can feel intimidating. We want an RDA who combines excellent surgical skills with warmth, confidence and robust patient care.
