and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivablePrepare and process payroll records for clientsReconcile bank statements and credit card statementsGenerate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheetsAssist in the preparation of tax returns and financial statementsCommunicate effectively with clients and other team members to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasksStay up-to-date on bookkeeping best practices and accounting regulationsQualificationsPost-secondary diploma or certificate in a relevant field (i.E. Bookkeeping, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance)Minimum of 2 years of experience in full cycle bookkeepingStrong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practicesProficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented and highly organizedAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyFamiliarity with tax preparation and financial statement preparation is a plus
