DescriptionWe are looking for one responsible home support worker/caregiver to help take care of our elderly mother with a disability in Burlington, ON.Work in employer's/client's home. Public transportation is available. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment.Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent.Wage: $22/Hour @ 30 – 44 hours per week.Target AudiencePersons with a disability, Elderly, Females.QualificationsEducation: Secondary (high) School Certificate, College or other courses related in home support. First aid certification is preferred.Work experience: Six months work experience is preferred.Languages: English.ResponsibilitiesAdminister bedside and personal careAssist clients in water (i.E., pool)Assist in regular exercise (e.G., walk)Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)Feed or assist in feedingChange non-sterile dressingsShop for food and household suppliesProvide personal careProvide companionshipPlan therapeutic diets and menusPerform light housekeeping and cleaning dutiesAssist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygienePrepare and serve nutritious meals
