You'll lead the maintenance team, plan and assign daily work, and ensure the property is safe, functional, and well presented in line with Pursuit standards.General ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and mentor Maintenance Workers; oversee performance andwork qualitySupervise all maintenance operations to ensure safe, efficient, well‐maintained facilitiesCoordinate daily maintenance activities with hotel leadership to support operationsPrepare weekly schedules and ensure coverage for weekends, holidays, and peak periodsOperate the maintenance tracking system and manage work orders and updatesPlan, perform, and track preventative maintenance and required inspectionsMaintain accurate logs, work orders, inspection reports, and compliance recordsManage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; coordinate external contractors as neededAssist with capital projects, renovations, major repairs, and seasonal opening/closing proceduresOversee maintenance of company vehicles and staff housing unitsEnsure compliance with safety, building, health, sanitation, and life‐safety regulations,



including AHS pool and water standardsConduct regular property walk‐throughs to identify hazards and maintenance needsSupport payroll accuracy and labour control for the Maintenance departmentAttend weekly management meetings and collaborate with sister properties as neededOther duties as assignedOn‐call ResponsibilitiesParticipate in an on‐call rotation for after‐hours maintenance emergenciesAssess, troubleshoot, and resolve urgent issues affecting guest safety, comfort, or operationsCoordinate emergency repairs with external contractors when requiredRequired Skills & Qualifications3+ years experience in maintenance or facilities management (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool treatment, painting)2+ years supervisory or management experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building systems; commercial kitchen repair experience an assetAble to handle admin tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and basic computer useStrong organizational and problem‐solving skills under high volume and tight timelinesAble to read blueprints and technical documents and use tools safelyCommitted to safety, sanitation, and high maintenance standardsFlexible for varied shifts and on‐call rotationValid Alberta driver's license + Class 4 Driver's License is an assetReliable, positive, and willing to go the extra mileAbout UsWe're more than a hospitality and attractions company.
