Sheshegwaning First Nation is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to provide homemaking services to elderly and disabled persons in Sheshegwaning and Zhiibaahaasing First Nations. The Homemaker will report to the Health Director.
Overview:
Provide homemaking services to the elderly and disabled persons
Co-ordinate schedules to meet the needs of the clients in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and organization skills
Compassion and understanding
The ability to work unsupervised
Must be able to provide a vulnerable sector criminal reference check
G driver’s license
Knowledge/understanding of the Anishinaabe language, customs and traditions would be an asset
Required Services:
Washing of floors, windows and walls as needed
Cleaning bathrooms
Doing laundry
Changing bed linens
Cleaning fridges
Cleaning Stoves
Other related duties as requested
Salary:
$20.48 per hour
