As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with telecommunications companies in Canada and the US, working together to achieve remarkable outcomes.We are currently seeking a Line Technician to join our operations in a permanent, full‐time position in Canada and the United States.The Line Technician is involved in all facets of outside plant construction including Fibre Optics, Copper and RF Coax. This hands‐on role requires technical expertise, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work. As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to travel across the Atlantic provinces. While on the road, we prioritize your comfort by providing daily per diem and accommodations paid for by the company. This role requires a willingness to travel, work a minimum of 40 hours per week, and have a valid driver's license and reasonable driver's abstract.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate vehicle‐mounted aerial device equipmentOperate cable lashing machines and other lineman equipmentLoad and unload equipment and cable trailersOutside Plant (OSP) line construction with coax,



copper and fibre cablesPerform testing and troubleshooting if requiredAdhere to all company safety policies and proceduresKnowledge and SkillsStrong manual dexterity, hand‐eye coordination, and attention to detailAbility to work in all weather conditions, confined spaces, isolationAbility to work in a physically demanding environment including, but is not limited to, carrying, raising and climbing a ladder, lifting and handling heavy equipment (manhole covers, cable reels)Self‐disciplined, motivated, organized, and a team playerAbility to work in a fast‐paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasksAdditional RequirementsValid driver's license (preference given to Class 3 and above – Class 3 with airbrakes an asset; may be required to obtain Class 3 with airbrakes)Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on emergency call‐outs as requiredSuccessful candidate must pass a criminal record checkExperience Required1+ years of Line Technician related experience in a telecommunications setting is preferredTechnical training or lineman training/certification considered an assetPreference given to candidates with telecommunications experience in outside plant construction (OSP) and FTTx projectsCompensation And BenefitsThe hourly wage for this position ranges between $25.00/hr – $30.00/hr, depending on experience, skills and qualificationsCompensation is paid out every week on Thursdays50% employer‐paid comprehensive group benefits (health, dental, vision, insurance)Group Life InsuranceEmployee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)Employee Referral Program BonusCompany‐Matched RRSPAdditional benefits available
