As an Art Director at Quietly, you will help lead that charge, turning our data-driven insights into strong creative concepts and bringing them to life through industry-leading work. If you get as excited about shaping the big idea as you do about rolling up your sleeves to execute it, we'd love to meet you.You bring significant experience from creative agencies or publishing and the confidence to lead completely new types of projects. You're comfortable presenting and justifying your design decisions to stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations and adjustments based on feedback. You raise the creative bar from brief execution and understand what it takes to produce standout work for both B2C and B2B brands.. Quietly partners with category leaders such as Coursera, Goldman Sachs, Intercom, Morningstar, Motorola Solutions and PwC to understand how content drives their business.What You'll DoLead the development of big content ideas from brief, ideation, execution, and deploymentSet the creative and design direction across projects, ensuring the work is strategically strong, visually compelling,



and aligned with the client's goalsDesign and oversee the development of assets including: online publications, reports, whitepapers, ebooks, websites, page layouts, infographics, presentation decks, and campaign creativeLead creative reviews and provide clear, constructive direction to designers, contractors and other creative partnersOversee work completed by external partners across design, photography, video, motion graphics and animationPartner with content strategists, writers and client leads to turn strategic thinking into cohesive creative conceptsDefine project design goals, scope and creative requirements, while providing informed time and resourcing estimatesManage creative priorities and timelines across multiple projects, identifying risks early and keeping work movingIdentify opportunities to improve creative processes, production efficiencies and the way we use internal and external resourcesPlay a leading role in client presentations, workshops, creative reviews and recent-business pitchesStay current on creative trends, tools, and emerging formats and bring new ideas and approaches into the workWhat You'll Bring5+ years art direction and design experience in an agency or publishing environment, with a strong background across digital platforms and integrated creative workBonus if you have experience in video creation, editing ,storyboarding, motion graphics, animation, etcB2B experience is a plusA desire to be hands-on. You're a designer at heart and love rolling up your sleevesA portfolio that demonstrates a track record of producing compelling work. Those who apply without a portfolio will not be consideredAn ability to effectively manage your time and prioritiesStrong attention to detail and design fundamentals such as hierarchy, layout, spacing and typographyExperience in communicating and presenting your ideas, both internally and to clients.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentA degree in design is a plusEligible to work in Canada
