With more than 31 years of experience and a portfolio of 5,000+ projects, our in‐house multidisciplinary teams help clients move from concept to commissioning with confidence.As a Document Controller, you will have the opportunity to maintain and process official project documents for the company. Your pride in ensuring that all documents are consistent and professional will be a vital part of this diverse and compelling position.ResponsibilitiesTrack, transmit, and accurately file paper and electronic engineering documents, drawings and correspondenceGenerate and distribute reports as required by projectRespond to internal and external drawing and document requestsPerform File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or similar site uploads and downloadsUpload documentation to SharePoint site and input the correct META dataCompile vendor data books according to document control standards and client requirementsProcess engineering drawing turnovers, electronically scan documents, and maintain data filesCoordinate and communicate with clients and vendors to expedite deliverables and issue final documentation within project deadlinesInteract with engineering disciplines to handle the issuance of client engineering documentation and vendor informationProvide routine quality checks on all outgoing documentation in accordance with company and client guidelinesEnsure that all procedures and internal standards are adhered to,



documentation is consistent and quality control standards are maintained during all stages of engineering document and drawing processingSet up project requirements and document control files for both engineering and supplier documentsInterface with IT and engineering groups to set up electronic systems on projectsRecommend methods and techniques for improving quality, productivity, and deadline schedulesAssist team lead with training and supervising junior staffQualificationsCompletion of high school and/or related certificate/technical diploma2‐8 years of data entry, administrative, and/or document control experienceOpen‐minded with the ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervisionExperience in an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environment is an assetStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a teamStrong ability to make critical decisions and solve problemsExcellent follow‐up skills with the ability to perform effectively in a fast‐paced environmentHighly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracyIntermediate working knowledge of engineering terminology with the ability to understand information on drawings, documentation, and engineering document management systemsExperience in compiling project data booksSelf‐motivated with the ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks effectivelyAbility to meet project timelines and perform effectively in a high‐pressure, team‐based environmentAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint Services, LiveLink, EDMS software, and Bluebeam is an assetExperience with File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site or similarGeneral – Language of work: EnglishDemeanour RequiredStrategic: Understands the broader business landscape and how people strategy drives resultsProactive:
