Experience with fabrication (Stainless, Aluminum, Carbon steel) and forming equipment (Brake, Shear, Plate Rollers) is preferred.Detail Oriented: You can read/interpret blueprints and have a passion for high-quality, custom fabricated, metal components.Growth Mindset: You are self-motivated, goal-driven, and passionate about continuous learning and improvement.Team Player: You maintain a positive attitude, are trustworthy, and seek to innovate processes.Key Responsibilities:Welding Processes: Perform SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW welds to specification.Compliance: Adhere to all C&A, Provincial, and Prime Contractor health and safety regulations.Technical Execution: Read blueprints, identify materials and parts from bills of material, fit complex weldments and determine welding procedures to minimize distortion.Mathematics: Apply knowledge of fractions, measuring, and geometry.Qualifications:Journeypersons: Must possess an Alberta Welding Certificate or Inter-Provincial Red Seal.Apprentices: Must possess a High School Diploma.Certifications: Ability to pass CWB welding tests.Driver's License: Candidates with a valid Class 5 license and clean 3 year driving abstract are strongly preferred.
