and stack products and materials – may be inside or outside of the facilityDelivers materials to various departments and between plant locations, utilizing electronic signals and/or KANBAN (visual controls) as to when materials are to moveEnsures work areas are kept clean and organizedPerform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipmentPerforms miscellaneous duties as requiredFollows instructions and all safety proceduresWillingness to work as part of a teamSense of urgencyOrganized and accountable for workCommunicate well with othersAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to work independentlyQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Must have previous forklift experience - Forklift certified preferredThe ability to perform freight handling duties with a manual pallet jack/fork liftThe ability to follow instructions, either while working independently, or as part of a teamPhysical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a warehouse or production setting.
