Property Legal Assistant - Presse Mason (Bedford)August 26, 2026Embedded in the Bedford and Halifax community through our legal services and volunteer commitments, Presse Mason is a full-service law firm, practicing in the areas of plaintiff personal injury, family law, employment law, insurance law, property law, and criminal law.Employment Opportunity: Property Legal Assistant, Full-time, permanentSummary of ResponsibilitiesOrganization, management and completion of real estate files from start to finish (purchasing, sales and refinancing) with minimal supervision; Liaising with clients, lenders, municipal offices, land registration offices, other legal offices and real estate agents; Preparation of legal documents, correspondence, and reports; Handling closing, trust accounting matters, and post-closing reporting; Providing otheradministrative support as required including lawyer's schedules, covering reception, and delivery of documents to other legal offices and/or lenders; Maintain organized filing systems,



digital and physical.Support other legal assistants and provide backup support for sick and vacation coverage.Other duties as required.Skills & Qualifications3-5 years experience as paralegal/legal assistant, or equivalent experience; Successful completion of paralegal diploma an asset but not required; Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and comfort with technology; Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality client service; Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines with a proactive mindset; Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure; A strong desireto collaborate with a team of professionals to provide excellent legal service.Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
