Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platform & Data Architecture

A fast-growing technology company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platform & Data Architecture to join their team building the next generation of cloud services that power a connected device platform. This is a highly hands-on role focused on architecting and building the foundational services required for enterprise-scale identity, device management, billing, compliance, and administration.

Successful candidates will design and build scalable cloud applications and data architectures that support trusted device identity, customer management, subscription monetization, and enterprise administration. You will have significant ownership over architecture and technical direction, while working across APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms to ensure the next-generation platform is secure, reliable, performant, and cost-effective.

You will also play a key role in migrating existing customers to the recent platform, building robust services and workflows for RBAC, auditability, privacy consent, terms and conditions, retention, and compliance. The role offers the opportunity to use modern AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development, debugging, optimization, and deployment of production-grade cloud systems.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of:

• 7+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud applications

• Cloud platform services, data architecture, and customer-facing APIs

• .NET and ASP.NET Core

• Entity Framework Core

• REST APIs, gRPC, and GraphQL

• Microsoft Azure cloud technologies





• Azure App Service

• Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD B2C

• Azure SQL

• Azure Key Vault

• Enterprise identity and access management

• Device management and trusted device identity

• Billing, subscription monetization, and administration systems

• RBAC, auditability, privacy, and compliance workflows

• Distributed systems and modern software architecture patterns

• CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery

• Infrastructure-as-Code

• Cloud observability, monitoring, and production reliability

• Cloud scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization

• AI-assisted software development tools, particularly Claude

• Building, debugging, optimizing, and operationalizing robust production deployments
