Position SummaryThis is a full-time salaried or day rate position. Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance Organization, the AME - Avionics "E" is responsible for the certification of an aircraft after maintenance, inspection, repair or modification. This is a position requiring a high degree of responsibility and skill, which includes:ResponsibilitiesInspection, troubleshooting, and repair avionics and electrical systemsEnsure compliance with regulatory and company maintenance proceduresSupport pilots and engineers with avionics-related issuesSupervising, performing and documenting routine avionics related maintenance.Other Duties as required by the Shop Supervisors and/or the Director of Maintenance OrganizationQualificationsMust hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E licenseExperience with BK117, Bell 212, and AS350 series aircraft is an assetStrong understanding of Canadian Aviation RegulationsFormal Aviation Training from a TCCA approved training organization (ATO) preferredClass 5 driver's license (or equivalent)
