Contribute to transformative community care as a Peer Support Mentor with The Salvation Army in London, ON. Your role will center on enhancing clients' social and interpersonal skills.
In this full time position, you’ll engage directly with clients, helping them navigate their unique challenges and fostering personal growth. Work alongside Counsellors to identify needs and implement suitable strategies. Your responsibilities also include ensuring safety protocols are followed and maintaining accurate client documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients in developing social and life skills
• Organize and accompany clients to scheduled activities
• Assist Counsellors in crafting effective interventions




• Document reliable client matters for case reviews
• Follow health and safety policies diligently
Requirements:
• Experience with addictions/mental health recovery
• Certification or training as a peer is beneficial
• Familiarity with community resources is essential
• Proficient in MS Office and record-keeping
• Solid communication and organizational competency
