Together, we’re building a better future—responsibly, inclusively, and with purpose.About the JobWe are hiring a Validation & Verification / Testing and Commissioning Engineer on the Ontario Line Project (RSSOM).What you’ll be doingSupport the planning and execution of Verification & Validation (V&V;) activities across the project lifecycle.Coordinate requirement verification through design, procurement, construction, installation, and testing stages.Maintain and manage the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and verification evidence.Track verification methods including design reviews, inspections, analysis, FAT, SAT, and test reports.Support validation activities demonstrating system fitness for purpose and operational readiness.Assist in developing and integrating Testing & Commissioning (T&C;) plans, procedures, and schedules.Coordinate commissioning activities across civil, systems, and MEP disciplines within the CJV.Monitor testing progress, identify readiness gaps, and proactively flag risks or constraints.Support resolution of test failures, non-conformances,



punch list items, and commissioning issues.Interface with engineering, construction, subcontractors, systems integrators, JV partners, and client teams.Coordinate client and Independent Certifier witnessing, readiness reviews, and assurance workshops.Prepare V&V; and T&C; documentation, dashboards, compliance reports, and handover submissions.What we’re looking forBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience in Verification & Validation, Testing & Commissioning, systems engineering, or assurance roles.Exposure to large-scale infrastructure, rail, transit, or complex construction projects preferred.Strong understanding of lifecycle integration across design, construction, testing, and commissioning.Familiarity with requirements management and document control systems (e.G., DOORS NG, Aconex, EDMS).Proven ability to manage verification evidence, compliance matrices, and traceability records.Strong coordination skills across multiple disciplines and project interfaces.Confident working with contractors, suppliers, client representatives, and JV stakeholders.Structured systems‑thinking mindset with robust attention to detail.Analytical ability to track progress, report metrics,



and support assurance processes.Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.Willingness to work on‑site and support extended hours during critical testing and commissioning phases.Expected CompensationSuccessful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between$85,000.00 CAD - $95,000.00 CAD.
