A Better World.As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care while performing advanced neurophysiological testing.You will:Conduct diagnostic procedures including EEG, EP, EMG, and NCSObtain clinical neurological historiesEducate patients and families about proceduresOperate and troubleshoot sophisticated neurodiagnostic equipmentProduce detailed technical reportsCollaborate with physicians and interprofessional teamsCollaborate with external health service providersSupport teaching, education, research, and ongoing quality improvement initiativesHere's What You'll NeedEssential QualificationsRegistered Electroneurophysiology Technologist (R.E.T.) certification through CBRETGraduate of a CBRET-approved Electrophysiology programMinimum 1 year of clinical neurophysiology experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to providing exceptional patient and family-centred careAbility to work effectively, efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment in stressful situations to meet patient care needs.Effective computer skills and can meet continuing education requirements.Understand importance and demonstrates ability to foster a culture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.Preferred RequirementsEMG experienceUniversity background in health sciencesMembership with CAET (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)Current BCLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)Candidates not currently registered with CBRET and have graduated from a CBRET-recognized Neurophysiology program, are encouraged to apply to the Non-Registered Neurodiagnostic Job opening (Job ID# 24429)Employment TypePermanent Full-Time; 37.5 hours per weekJoin a team where your expertise matters, your growth is supported, and your work changes lives every day.
