NHS Fife is seeking an Experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician for its Primary Care team. This role supports patient-centered pharmacotherapy while working with GP practice staff throughout North East Fife. This position is pivotal in delivering secure and effective medication services from Stratheden Hospital.
You'll engage with patients and clinicians across 11 GP practices, managing a range of responsibilities from medicines reconciliation to training staff. Your ability to prioritize and communicate effectively will be crucial for success. Key Responsibilities:
Undertake medicines reconciliation for transitional care
Evaluate acute prescription requests
Facilitate medication and adherence reviews for patients
Respond to medication queries from health specialists
Lead improvements in pharmacy practice and service delivery Requirements:
Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Specialized experience in a Primary Care GP setting
Qualifications in Pharmaceutical Science and applicable checks
Ability to travel efficiently among GP locations
