Daycare and OSC located on the westend of edmonton. We are seeking a caring and dedicated Daycare Educator to support the growth and development of young children in a nurturing setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with special needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Duties

We are hiring an Educator that DRIVES with class 4, to drive our 14 passenger van to transport the OSC kids to and from school. If you drive and willing to get your class 4 ( it is only a knowledge test to get your class 4) apply with your resume.

If you do not drive please do not apply because I will not even look at the resume. If you are only a driver and just want a job please DO NOT apply. I am looking for an experienced educator to also work with the out of school care.

Other Duties:




Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Assist with meal times, snacks, and nap schedules in accordance with health guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom setting
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities
Implement educational programs that support early childhood development
Support children with special needs by adapting activities to meet individual needs
Foster positive behavior and social skills among children through guidance and encouragement

Requirements: Childcare Level 1, 2 or 3

Driver's License

First Aid

Police clearance

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$25.38 per hour
