Duties
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure availability for food preparation and service
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas to uphold food safety standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision
Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices
Help with trash disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen tidy and compliant




Support meal service by assisting with setup or cleanup as needed during busy hours

Requirements
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Basic cooking or meal preparation skills are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to develop these skills is significant
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
