The School of Community Services is recruiting a part time Animal Care Technologist. You will facilitate hands-on learning in the Veterinary Assistant and Technician programs by preparing lab materials and supervising students during live animal interactions. This position requires flexibility with a schedule of up to 16 hours per week across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare lab materials, including models and solutions
• Evaluate student skills under faculty direction




• Ensure labs are clean and organized
• Maintain lab equipment as per protocols
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
• Diploma in Veterinary Technology required
• Two years’ experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician
• Registration in good standing in Ontario
• Fear Free certification preferred
• Reliable transport for off-site duties
