We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our Klemtu Saltwater team. This fly-in position is based in Klemtu, BC, with company-provided flights to and from Campbell River. Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is a vital part of our farming process to grow our salmon in a sustainable and productive way. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with site operations to ensure a safe and positive work environment.Qualifications:Grade 12 diploma and 3 to 5 years of experience in salmon aquaculture, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.A post-secondary aquaculture certificate or diploma is preferredAbility to work safely and effectively in challenging environmental conditionsStrong background in feed and environmental risk managementDemonstrated skills and experience in providing leadership to a team of staff and supporting all aspects of personnel managementGood critical thinking, decision-making skills, and sound judgmentHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills (e.G., approachable, empathetic),
