Position Details

Location: St. Joseph's Hospital, 3001 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33677

Status: Full time

Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM (Shift 2 – Evenings)

On Call: Yes

Always in person

Weekend Work: Occasional

Summary

Operating Room RN responsibilities include independent care for a sub-specialty group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.

Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team.

Skilled accountability and development in accordance with best practice standards set by a nationally recognized specialty organization.





Preceptor and charge nurse duties when assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years RN experience.

Preferred 1 year Operating Room experience.

Clinical skills appropriate to the position.

Interpersonal skills.

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support).

RN (Registered Nurse).

ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department.

Education

Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma.

Preferred Bachelor's Nursing.

Experience

Required includes 2 years RN experience.

Preferred includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
