It is a real 'boots on the ground' setting. Team members reside in a camp environment and typically work on rotations, depending on the position. The camp offers excellent food, a sauna/gym, recreational room and the opportunity to stay connected with family and friends.Hourly Rate: $42.35About the OpportunityThe successful candidate will be responsible for snow and ice removal, sanding, material hauling, dust control, and general haul road maintenance. The Sand Truck Operator will also support road construction, rehabilitation, drainage, reclamation, and material movement activities across the site while working closely with other heavy equipment operators and site personnel. This is a hands‐on position requiring a strong commitment to safety, equipment care, and maintaining safe road conditions in a dynamic mining environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions and responding to changing site and operational requirements.Position Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Job DutiesOperate a Kenworth T880 equipped with front plow, wing plow, and sanding systemsRemove snow and ice from haul roads, pit access roads, parking areas, fuel stations and site infrastructureApply sand and traction materials to haul roads, ramps, intersections, and high-risk travel areasMonitor road conditions and identify hazards including drifting snow,



icy surfaces, reduced visibility, and shoulder deteriorationMaintain safe road widths and visibility of berms, signage, and traffic controlsOperate the T880 truck for hauling gravel, sand, aggregate, ore, waste rock, and other site materials as requiredAssist with road construction, road rehabilitation, and haul road maintenance projectsPerform dust control activities on haul roads and work areasTransport materials for roadbuilding, drainage, and reclamation projectsAssist graders, excavators, dozers, and loaders during road maintenance and construction activitiesSupport stockpile management and material movement throughout the mine sitePerform general labour and site support duties as assigned by supervisionConduct pre-operational and post-operational inspections of equipmentComplete logbooks, inspection reports, and safety documentationReport equipment defects, road hazards, unsafe conditions, incidents, and near missesPerform basic servicing, fueling, lubrication, and housekeeping of assigned equipmentFollow all mine-site policies, procedures and safety regulationsQualifications and ExperienceValid Class AZ Driver's License3-5 years of heavy equipment operator training, sand truck operation and/or relevant experienceExperience operating heavy trucks in mining, construction, forestry or industrial environmentsExperience hauling aggregate, ore, gravel, sand, or similar materials considered an assetKnowledge of winter road maintenance and snow removal practicesAbility to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, overtime and emergency call‐outsFamiliarity with mine‐site traffic management plans and radio communication protocolsWorking Conditions / ScheduleLocation: Eagle River MineShift / Hours of Work: 12‐hour shifts, Days/Nights Schedule / Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days offType of Hire: Permanent,
