Responsibilities
Operate cheese production machinery efficiently, monitoring for proper function and quality standards
Assist with the packaging of finished cheese products, ensuring accuracy and neatness
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work area following food safety protocols
Use forklifts to move raw materials, ingredients, and finished products safely around the facility
Conduct routine mechanical inspections and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime
Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures diligently throughout your shift




Support inventory management by accurately recording production data and materials usage

Qualifications
Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is preferred but not required
Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for operating machinery is highly beneficial
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating quantities, and recording data accurately
Familiarity with packaging processes and equipment is a plus
Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory (training can be provided)
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude towards maintaining quality standards
