Become a Charitable Donations Pickup Driver for the National Diabetes Trust and contribute to community welfare. This full time truck driving role is pivotal in our mission. Driving a designated route, you will collect donated items that support critical diabetes programs across Canada.
As part of a dedicated team, you’ll ensure compliance with relevant driving regulations while engaging positively with donors. A G or higher licence and a clean driving record are required for applicants. Key Responsibilities:
Drive and collect donations from community routes
Perform vehicle safety checks before trips
Submit daily hours of service documentation
Interact with donors courteously and professionally
Report any route issues to dispatch promptly Requirements:
Possession of a valid G licence for at least 5 years
Clean driving abstract with no recent incidents
Robust organizational and map-reading skills
Physical ability to lift and handle weight
