Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires mechanical aptitude, precision, and adherence to safety standards to ensure effective production and product integrity.

Duties
Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to specifications and blueprints
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machine settings and tooling requirements
Set up and adjust machinery, including CNC programming when applicable, to meet production goals
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on press brake equipment
Conduct quality inspections using calipers, gauges, and other hand tools to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members on assembly processes involving machined components
Utilize additional manufacturing equipment such as CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC lathe, CNC milling machines, cranes, forklifts,



and hand tools as needed for material handling and fabrication tasks
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during operation

Requirements
Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment
Mechanical knowledge of CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, welding, machining processes, and blueprint reading
Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and perform quality inspections with precision
Familiarity with cranes and forklifts for material handling is a plus
Basic math skills necessary for measuring and setting machine parameters
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
Positive communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
Prior experience with assembly processes is advantageous
Ability to work safely following all safety procedures and guidelines

Pay: $19.06-$25.00 per hour
