Strada Coffee Co. is looking to hire a passionate and motivated Barista/Cashier to join our team! Our ideal candidate would have experience in the food service industry and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a barista/cashier, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties
Prepare and/or serve a variety of beverages and food according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS systems.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service when greeting customers, taking orders and addressing inquiries/concerns.
Manage time efficiently during busy or not busy periods to ensure a successful service that is up to our quality standards.
Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, following proper food handling procedures.




Perform basic math calculations for cash handling or register operations.

Experience:
Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to all candidates.
Experience in the food service industry is advantageous.
Time management skills are required to handle multiple tasks efficiently in our quick-paced workplace.
Excellent customer service skills are required for this position. This includes engaging positively with our customers and creating a welcoming environment for all of those visiting our establishment.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing is required.
