Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Summary: The maintenance technician is a key member of the CADC team. This position comes with varying job duties and locations each day. Interacting with tenants and ensuring they are looked after is key. You will respond to the needs of our tenants and work with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed fast and properly.Responsible To: Facilities ManagerClassification: Level 11BResponsible for: The day-to-day maintenance and repair of the many CADC buildings. This position is responsible for conducting repairs and other tasks so that all tenants can operate their business efficiently and safely.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Investigating and resolving problems identified by tenant or facility manager requestsCarrying out preventative maintenance tasks on multiple buildingsContinually conducting inspections while on site to identify items in need of repairRepairing or replacing broken or faulty items (doors, windows, ceiling tiles, blinds, furniture)Repairing or replacing door hardware including locks, closers, cylinders, and specialized security hardware.Performing carpentry work such as installing signs, boards, TVs and mounts, cutting/filling holes, installing shelving, repairing and replacing rotten or worn-out building components, framing walls, drywall installation, seam filling, and minor roof,



parapet and soffit repairs.Performing carpet and flooring repairs and installation.Painting duties as needed.Ability to perform a wide range of skilled tasks and backfill other maintenance positions as required to cover for vacations / illnessKnowledge of operating various carpentry tools and machinesAfter hours and weekend emergency call response will be requiredSnow removal and operation of a small tractorOther duties as required1. Job Requirements (Education and Experience)A degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field.Minimum of three years' experience working in a repair or maintenance capacity.Experience and understanding of building systems including HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, and Plumbing.Experience working with hand and power tools to complete repairs.Valid drivers licenseAbility to work flexible schedule.Clean criminal record.5.
