and margin targets.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Receiving, triaging, and delegating incoming RFQs in collaboration with the sales and estimating teamsInterpreting mechanical drawings and technical specifications to identify missing information, complex features, and manufacturability considerationsClarifying project requirements with customers and coordinating technical input from internal specialistsDetermining labour, machining, material, finishing, and logistics requirements for custom manufacturing projectsPreparing detailed cost estimates and quotations using ProShop ERP, sales history, and established margin targetsFollowing up on quotations and completing purchase-order verification, order entry, and work-order creationCollaborating with engineering, machining, and fabrication teams to develop practical, cost-effective manufacturing solutionsGuiding the estimating team while helping establish effective procedures, structure, and continuous-improvement practicesAbout YouTo qualify, you will need 5+ years of experience in mechanical estimating, machining, metal fabrication, or a related manufacturing environment.Construction estimating experience alone will not satisfy the technical requirements of this position unless supported by relevant machining or manufacturing experience.Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Experience preparing estimates and quotations within a machine shop, metal fabrication facility, or custom manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of machining processes, fabrication methods, materials, measurement principles, and production requirementsAbility to interpret mechanical drawings and identify technical gaps,
