Environmental Services Program Co-OrdinatorCompany: HRAIType: Full-timeDescriptionHeating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) a not-for-profit national trade association that represents and advocates for member companies in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry (HVACR). Our members include wholesalers, manufacturers, contractors, and other professionals with an interest in this industry and improving its impact on the environment. We've been around for more than 50 years and believe it or not, still growing!We are looking for a Program Coordinator – Environmental Services to join our team. Working closely with the Manager, Environmental Services, you will support programs including Refrigerant Management Canada and the Thermostat Recovery Program, gaining hands‐on experience in environmental stewardship, program administration, reporting, audits, stakeholder engagement and industry outreach.You do not need previous HVACR or environmental stewardship experience. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with people and data, and interested in learning about environmental programs and sustainability.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career while contributing to programs with meaningful environmental impact.This posting is for an existing vacancy.The salary range for this role is $50,000-$55,000 annually.What You Will DoSupport the day-to-day administration and coordination of environmental stewardship programsMaintain accurate program records, databases,
documentation and compliance informationSupport the Manager with annual provincial reporting and updates to stewardship program plansCoordinate documentation and information required for annual program auditsRespond to questions and provide program support to members, contractors, wholesalers, manufacturers, collection depots and other program partnersSupport relationships and communications with government departments, stewardship organizations, industry partners, committees and other stakeholdersTrack program activities, deadlines, data and reporting requirementsAssist with budget tracking and annual budget preparationSupport program communications, education, outreach and engagement activitiesParticipate in meetings, working groups, industry events and conferences, as requiredLook for opportunities to make program processes, communications and service delivery more productive and effectiveWhat You BringA post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, environmental studies, sustainability, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceOne to three years of experience in program coordination, administration, project support, stakeholder service, or a similar professional environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailThe ability to manage multiple priorities, records and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills and a service-focused approachComfort working with data, spreadsheets, databases and documentationProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointThe ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of a teamAn interest in environmental programs,
