Provide essential cleaning services at our independent living facility as a casual Housekeeper. Engage with our residents while ensuring cleanliness and comfort in their setting.
This position requires a minimum of a Grade 10 education and some background in hospitality or healthcare is a plus. WHMIS Certification is necessary, along with the ability to operate housekeeping and janitorial equipment safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain resident suites and shared spaces
• Build rapport with residents during cleaning tasks
• Handle laundering and delivery of linens accurately
• Prepare cleaning solutions as per safety standards
• Monitor cleaning equipment for any issues
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education or its equivalent
• Previous experience in hospitality or healthcare settings
• WHMIS Certification and knowledge of cleaning methods
• Robust English communication skills
• Ability to work independently with efficiency
