ELEMENT TECHNICAL SERVICES - ELECTRONICS / INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICAN (JORUNEYMAN OR APPRENTICE)

Summary of Position

Has 1 to 3 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Will berequired to do monthly PM services, software updates and training of lower-leveltechs.

- Has a goodunderstanding of electrical theory
- Possess anadvanced hand tool set.
- Awillingness to learn and retain information.
- Awillingness to train and share knowledge of Element equipment with otheremployees.
- To followall safety processes and procedures.

Training

- SiemensPLC courses
- Knowledgeof engine/transmission diagnostic software.
- Employeeswill have the opportunity to attend training courses and will receive acertificate of completion at the end of each course

Duties & Responsibilities

- Basicunderstanding of the use of diagnostic software and how to use it.
- Proficientknowledge of hydraulic systems and their correct control settings.
- Canperform electro/hydraulic system troubleshooting.
- Proficientknowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.




- Has a goodunderstanding on basic equipment operation and theory.
- Basicunderstanding of troubleshooting and repair of greaser systems.
- Assistlevel 3 electronics technicians with major projects
- Isproficient in performing all monthly PM services with no guidance.
- Must havea positive understanding of electro-hydraulics pump systems
