This OpportunityWe are currently looking to fill a Part time Brain Injury Rehabilitation Worker role in our Toronto Region.Schedule:Repeating RotationalStarting wage:$20.06 per hour. This compensation is inclusive of a $3.00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients.The wage enhancement does not apply to training and paid leave.Hours:up to 30hrs per week as per collective agreementDuties include the following:Implement individualized support services plans within the home and/or community for adults with brain injury (BI)Assist individuals with brain injury in instrumental activities of daily living, cognitive and problem-solving skills, community orientation and integrationProvide services on a flexible basis during weekday business hoursReporting responsibilities including daily log note recording, incident reports,



and verbal reports as requiredParticipate in training as requiredFollow policies and procedures as requiredOn-call requirementsBackground / Qualifications:Completed post-Secondary in Human or Social ServicesMinimum of three years' experience in Human Services field and/or working with people with ABICurrent CPR, First Aid is an assetProven consistency in work performance, including reliability and flexibilityExcellent interpersonal communication and organizational skillsSound problem solving skillsProven ability to work independently / autonomouslyKnowledge of and experience working with local community housing and social services resourcesAbility to speak, read, and write English
