Sprung Studios is looking for an Office Manager to join our team in Vancouver.We specialize in UX/UI for video games and are a globally recognized partner in the games industry. We have worked on some of the world's biggest games for clients such as EA, Microsoft, Bethesda, SEGA, and many more. We are a growing company of 70+ people across Brighton (UK) and Vancouver (Canada).The ideal Office Manager will oversee day-to-day office operations, including coordination and facilities, while providing administrative and financial support to Senior Management. while every team member is responsible for carrying out their role with care, sound judgement, and a high standard of professionalism.that these values help us build trust, make better decisions, support our creative teams, strengthen the studio, and create an environment where great work can thrive.The RoleOffice & Facilities ManagementServe as the primary point of contact with building management/landlord for office needs, maintenance requests, and facility-related issuesDeal with internal maintenance issues within the office as they arisePurchase office supplies and equipment, and maintain proper stock levelsSet up desks and equipment for new hiresKeep an up-to-date inventory list of all equipmentManage shipping and receiving of ordersProvide accounts payable and accounts receivable support, including processing and tracking invoicesManage expense administration and receipt collection for all employees, input into DextPerform basic account reconciliations (e.G., expense claims, credit card statements, petty cash)Liaise with the company's external accountant/bookkeeper on routine bookkeeping matters, document requests, and month-end itemsFlag discrepancies or outstanding items to the/Senior Management in a timely mannerMaintain organized, audit-ready financial records and filing for all bookkeeping-related documentationHR & Culture SupportOrganize team and company social events, including coordination with vendors, activities, and communicationAssist in creating monthly newsletters to promote a positive and healthy workplaceTrack vacation, time-off requests, and absencesAssist the HR Manager with PTO, sick, and WFH allowancesSupport HR/Senior Management Team with ad-hoc duties as they arisePerform other duties and projects as assignedStrong problem-solving skills,



with the ability to anticipate issues and resolve them proactively and independentlyHighly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through, particularly for financial/record-keeping tasksDiscretion and sound judgement when handling confidential financial and employee informationComfortable working with bookkeeping/expense tools (e.G., Dext) and basic reconciliation processesClear, professional communication with employees, vendors, and external partnersAbility to manage competing priorities across facilities, events, and finance-related tasksQualificationsWhat you Bring:Minimum of two (2) years of office administration or operations experience; bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferredA successful track record in an office management, administrative, or coordinator support functionExperience with bookkeeping or financial administration, including accounts payable/receivable, expense reconciliation, and tools such as DextAdvanced software skills in Google Suite, including Google Sheets for budgets, expenses, or inventory trackingExperience coordinating office events or employee engagement initiativesExcellent organizational and logistics skills, with the ability to manage facilities and day-to-day office operationsComfort supporting HR with administrative tasks (e.G., onboarding logistics, documentation, scheduling)Strong understanding of and commitment to confidentiality when handling financial and employee informationHigh level of autonomy and self-motivationExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsWhy work at Sprung Studios?Competitive salary and benefitsDiverse work environmentA positive working environment with fun and friendly team membersRegular team outingsPersonal time off benefitWork from home daysSalary Range: $60,000-$75,000Sprung Studios is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
