The successful applicant will prepare and implement subject-specific curricula while employing various teaching methods such as discussions and laboratory activities. You will evaluate student performance, develop remedial programs for struggling learners, and maintain open communication with parents about student progress. Engaging in staff development activities will also be essential.

Key Responsibilities:



• Structure lessons and materials per an approved curriculum • Use diverse teaching methods to engage and educate students • Correct assignments and evaluate tests and exams • Discuss student progress with parents and school officials • Attend workshops to enhance teaching strategies

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in education and relevant experience • Provincial teaching certification required • 2-3 years of teaching experience preferred • Additional qualifications in special education an asset • Membership in a teachers' association may be required
