They are responsible for the smooth and safe operation of the centre,



ensuring appropriate staffing levels, overseeing facility management and general operations, and fulfilling day to day business needs. This position creates the standard and establishes the atmosphere for the centre by creating and maintaining an environment of safety, trust, compassion, and excellence in care.Primary ResponsibilitiesClinical & Program OversightEnsure continuity of care between all staff shiftsReview and monitor shift reports and participant documentation with follow up as requiredProvide support and guidance to all staffMonitor admission and discharge for all participantsEnsure participant safety, confidentiality, and program standards are maintainedIntake & ReferralsOversee relationships with partner agencies, building strong connections and communication channelsDevelop, maintain, and implement all intake and discharge process and supporting documentationSupport staff through the intake and referral processesAdministrationExternal reporting and accountability regarding appointed metricsPrepare reports for funding and regulatory requirementsMonitor occupancy and bed utilizationCoordinate communication with external agenciesSupport donor engagement to bolster sustainable revenueLeadershipHigh level of oversight on all program and participant documentationProvide day-to-day supervision of program operationsSupport staff through coaching and mentorshipFacilitate staff orientation, onboarding and training, or delegate as requiredOversee and implement quality improvement initiativesEnsure all staffing levels are met and all shifts are filled, supporting coverage as neededAdditional ResponsibilitiesOther duties as assignedEducation, Experience and CredentialsDiploma or Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Nursing, Addictions, or related field required OR five or more years of directly related leadership experience within addictions, detoxification, shelters, healthcare, or community services.Current First Aid and CPR Certificate requiredExperience coordinating referrals is considered an assetKnowledge of addictions and treatment, including withdrawal management, and trauma informed care considered a significant assetNon-violent crisis intervention training considered an assetMust be able to obtain and maintain a explicit Vulnerable Sector Clearance.Experience working with vulnerable persons considered an assetAbility to guide others through servant leadershipAbility to deescalate a situation in a high pressure and unpredictable environmentHighly organized and able to plan and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and centred in stressful situations while applying critical thinkingDesire to mentor and develop othersThe position is based in a detox facility where staff work in and among individuals going through detox recovery.Flexibility schedule, which may include working evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.The work environment reflects the Christ-centered mission, where staff collaborate in ministry-focused work that supports individuals on their recovery journey.#J-18808-Ljbffr
