You will oversee a wide range of responsibilities including acquisitions, commercial contracts, and employment matters, all while building the legal infrastructure necessary for growth. This role demands a blend of legal acumen and commercial pragmatism.
Key Responsibilities:



- Act as the key legal advisor to executive leadership - Lead contract drafting and negotiations - Strengthen governance and risk management practices - Direct legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions - Foster relationships with external counsel
Requirements: - Juris Doctor and membership in a Canadian law society - At least 7 years' experience with commercial law - Effectiveness in advising on corporate governance - Experience in the manufacturing sector is beneficial - Bilingual in French and English preferred
