As a **5 Tonne Truck Driver**, you will be responsible for the timely and safe **delivery** of food products throughout **Ottawa, Ontario** and the surrounding areas. institutions, etc.).* Safely operate and maintain a **5 Tonne Truck** (Straight Truck) on urban and regional routes.* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring **transportation** and **logistics** compliance.* Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols, including load security and handling procedures.* Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and collect necessary documentation.* Accurately track deliveries and maintain electronic or paper **logs** as required.# **Required Qualifications/Skills*** Proven experience as a **Delivery Driver** or in a similar **transportation** role is highly preferred.* Valid **Ontario Driver's License** (G or equivalent).* Clean commercial vehicle operator's registration (**CVOR**) and **Driver's Abstract** (Must be provided).* Physical capability to lift and move up to **50 lbs** frequently during the loading and delivery process.* Flexibility to work the required schedule (Mon-Fri, 5:30 am - 3:30 pm), with availability for occasional Saturdays.
