THE ROLE We are seeking experienced and dependable Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erectors to join a construction crew on a commercial/industrial project.

In this role, you will be responsible for erecting and installing pre-engineered metal building systems, including structural steel, roofing systems, wall cladding, insulation, trims, flashings, and related building components.

You''ll work closely with crane operators, equipment operators, and other trades while following engineered drawings and established safety procedures.

Key responsibilities include: Erecting structural steel building systems according to engineered drawings and specifications Install structural steel and building components including columns, rafters, beams, joists, bracing, secondary framing, wall panels, insulation, trims, flashings, openings, door framing, louvers, gutters, downspouts, and related systems.

Reading and interpreting structural and erection drawings Assisting with unloading, organizing, and staging materials Performing bolting, fastening, drilling, cutting, fitting, and field modifications as required Safely use hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, grinders, drills, and other construction equipment Working with cranes, rigging systems, and aerial access equipment Inspecting completed work to ensure quality, alignment, and weather-tightness and reporting damages, missing, or improperly fabricated components.

Participating in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Competitive pay of $30.00-$35.00/hour ,



based on experience Full-time hours on a project expected to last approximately 4 months Prospect to work on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects Safety-focused work environment Training opportunities available based on experience level Supportive team environment working alongside skilled construction professionals Schedule Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Breaks 15-minute break at 9:00 AM 30-minute lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM 15-minute break at 3:00 PM Standard Work Week: 44 hours REQUIREMENTS Experience & Skills Previous experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings Experience with structural steel erection Experience installing metal roofing and wall cladding systems Ability to read and interpret construction and erection drawings Experience working safely at heights Strong understanding of construction site safety practices Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments Assets Experience operating boom lifts and scissor lifts Knowledge of rigging, signaling, and crane-assisted erection procedures Valid driver''s licence Reliable transportation Experience with Butler, Robertson, Varco Pruden, Behlen, Steelway, or similar pre-engineered metal building systems Certifications Considered an Asset Fall Protection Aerial Work Platform Certification Boom Lift Certification Scissor Lift Certification WHMIS Standard First Aid Confined Space Training Rigging and Hoisting Signal Person / Crane Signaling CSTS or equivalent construction safety training Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Work at heights on structural steel and aerial platforms Lift, carry,
