We are looking for a Metal Finisher to join our clients team.

The ideal candidate has experience with grinding, sanding, and polishing and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality finished products.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, comfortable using hand and power tools, and willing to support different areas of the shop when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities Perform metal finishing processes including grinding, sanding, and polishing .

Use hand and power tools to remove excess material, smooth surfaces, and prepare parts for the next stage of production.

Inspect finished products for quality, defects, and compliance with company standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications .

Clean, maintain, and safely operate tools and equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area.

Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and quality targets.

Identify potential issues and suggest improvements to processes and workflow.

Assist with product assembly and other shop duties as required.

Support other areas of the shop when needed to help maintain production flow.

Skills & Qualifications Previous experience with grinding, sanding, and polishing is preferred.





Knowledge of different metal types, particularly cold rolled steel and aluminum .

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings .

Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools .

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify surface defects and imperfections.

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Skilled and comfortable working with hand tools.

Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and time tracking.

Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and handle heavy materials.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use.

Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

Willingness to assist in other areas of the shop as required.

Previous product assembly experience is an asset.

Compensation $19.00$22.00 per hour , depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
