The Penticton Regional Hospital’s Department of Anesthesia is seeking an engaged team player and confident generalist who is confident in regional anesthesia techniques to join our group of 10 dedicated Anesthesiologists who make an amicable team with 23 surgeons. We provide OR services for urology, ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and uncomplicated pediatric cases over 2 years. We have a robust peri-operative consult service and ERACS program for colo-rectal and direct anterior hip replacement.

We assist with airway needs in the ICU and Emergency department and provide full pre-op services and out- of -OR consultation for the emergency adult list and labour/delivery. Additionally,



there are 2 ORs at the Summerland Health Centre where we provide services including pediatric dental, ENT and ophthalmology services. Candidates with robust pediatric skills would be an asset.

There are opportunities for teaching medical students and residents. Research can be supported if interested. There is a monthly CME program and quarterly Grand Rounds (supported by the Medical Staff Association).
