We are seeking an experienced Application Architect –

- EHealth with extensive experience in provincial healthcare, Electronic Health Records (EHR) applications, eHealth platforms, integration solutions, application architecture, and software development. The successful candidate will support the evolution, implementation, integration, performance, and ongoing support of the eHealth platform while working closely with business teams, project managers, application support teams, database administrators, vendors, and development teams.

Mandatory Requirements

- A university degree in Computer Science or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A minimum of twenty (20) years of IM/IT experience.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years as a Senior Programmer/Analyst.

Description The successful candidate will work as an Application Architect –

- EHealth

, supporting the development and evolution of the eHealth platform for the Province of New Brunswick.



The role will involve preparing proof of concepts for recommended solutions and architecture, supporting the evolution of the eHealth platform from its current state to its future state, developing implementation, migration and integration strategies, and ensuring that integration solutions meet business requirements while maintaining information integrity and adhering to established standards and best practices.

The successful candidate will also provide support for development environments and live production systems, monitor and optimize eHealth platform performance, and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of solutions.

Deliverables The successful candidate must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement:

- Prepare proof of concepts for recommended solutions and architecture.
- Assist in the development of a road map for the evolution of the eHealth Platform from current to future state.
- Develop implementation, migration and integration strategies.
- Develop integration solutions that meet business requirements and objectives, while ensuring information integrity and adhering to standards and best practices.
- Provide support for development environments as well as live production systems.
- Monitor and optimize eHealth Platform performance to create high availability.
- Provide support for eHealth Platform as required. After-hours support may be required. Compensation will be based on Service New Brunswick rates for on-call, after-hours support.

- Work with various stakeholders, including business teams, project managers, application support teams, database administrators, vendors, other development teams, and other relevant stakeholders,



to ensure that any solution is implemented successfully.
- Provide regular status reports to the Manager for Health (eHealth) applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as updating team documentation as required and participating in team scrums as required.

Work Location and Onsite Requirements The successful candidate is required to work onsite for the duration of the engagement with Service Current Brunswick (SNB) at HSBC Place, Fredericton, New Brunswick. SNB will provide office space with access to pertinent information and resources for the duration of the engagement.

The ability to work remotely may be possible, as required and only at the client's request and consent.
