We are a First Nations operated Group Two Independent school with Grades K-7 full days.

Job Responsibilities Provide inquiry based, problem solving based and project based learning opportunities Utilize academic programs including Reading Mastery, Read

Well, Corrective Reading, Nelson Literacy and Saxon Math Prepare and deliver long term,



monthly and daily lesson plan activities Develop and oversee individual learning plans for each student as required Ensure that students overall needs for achieving success are met Collaborate with Education Assistants and Cultural Workers regularly and as required Enforce the school discipline policy Participate as a member of the school supervisory and extra-curricular teams Provide written student evaluation reports and attend parent-teacher conferences Ensure that accurate and complete student records are maintained Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents Job Qualifications Bachelor of Education Member in good standing with the BC College of Teachers 2 years teaching in a First Nations setting preferred Satisfactory criminal records and vulnerable sector search If you are interested in this position you may submit your covering letter & resume by August 5, 2022 to:
