Extendicare is looking for dedicated Dietary Aides to serve food and assist in the dining area while ensuring cleanliness. This role requires collaboration with new staff during training and compliance with all health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
• Professionally serve meals to residents and guests
• Support preparation of drinks, salads, and desserts
• Set and clear dining tables efficiently
• Assist in cleaning during and after meal service
• Participate in special events and quality programs
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate is mandatory
• Preference for candidates with food service experience
• Must be in or completed Food Service Worker Training
• Strong customer service skills required
• Ability to lift heavy items and remain active during shifts
