Reference Number: 32322 Jardeg is recruiting a Welder Foreperson to join our maintenance team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The Welder Foreperson Base Rate is $61.08/hr.

This position is a permanent day shift position on a 7/7 shift rotation working 12 hours per day.

This is a compressed schedule and is straight time for all hours worked on the regular maintenance schedule.

Camp accommodation is provided , all rooms have a private washroom, and the camp is walking distance to the site footprint.

Flights are provided from the Calgary or Edmonton flight hubs.

Supervise and organize tasks assigned to employees and oversee work performed Comprehend drawings and develop layout patterns for projects and calculate quantities of materials Have a thorough knowledge of metals, arc electrodes,



welding gases and gas welding filler rods Recognize defective welds; know the cause and proper procedure for the repair of the defective area Have a working knowledge of mathematics calculations pertaining to the welding trade Have a working knowledge of the required codes Be familiar with the work of other trades people in affiliated trades Perform assigned tasks in accordance with quality and production standards required by industry Qualifications: Minimum 2 Years Leadership experience Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.

Physical aptitude to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and working at heights.

Minimum Requirements: Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test Valid Journeyperson certification as a B Pressure Welder Journeyperson.

Welding tickets and/or welder performance qualification testing required - as per Heartland Constructors Inc.
