IBM Sterling Administrator Job Type: Full Time Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Onsite Primary Skills: IBM Sterling SFG & B2B Integrator, MFT & File Transfer Protocols, Unix/Linux & Shell Scripting Job Description We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling Administrator to support and maintain enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling File Gateway, B2B Integrator, CCM, SSP-CM, and SEAS, along with experience in production support, troubleshooting, security, and file-transfer protocols.

Key Responsibilities Configure and maintain Trading Partners, routing rules, services, adapters, and Business Processes within IBM Sterling.

Support deployments involving code changes, maps, configurations, and Business Process updates.

Monitor file-transfer flows, queues, BP execution, system health, and availability.

Provide L2 production support for IBM Sterling File Gateway and related MFT components.

Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve issues within SLA timelines.

Configure and support security and encryption technologies including PGP, SSL, and SSH.





Provide rotational 24/7 on-call production support.

Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams.

Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Participate in Service

Now-based incident and change management activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG), B2B Integrator, CCM, SSP-CM, and SEAS .

Strong knowledge of FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and AS2 protocols.

Proficiency in Unix/Linux and shell scripting.

Experience supporting enterprise production and MFT environments.

Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis skills.

Experience with PGP, SSL, and SSH security technologies.

Robust understanding of enterprise file-transfer operations and production support.

Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Dynatrace monitoring and log analysis.

Exposure to Open

Shift or other container platforms.

Familiarity with Git

Hub, YAML, and Dev

SecOps practices.

Experience with Service

Now change management.
