Role Description This full-time, on-site Class 3 Driver / Residential Step Installer role is based in Calgary, AB. The position involves operating Class 3 vehicles to transport precast concrete products safely to residential and commercial job sites, following all traffic and safety regulations. The role includes installing precast residential steps and related components according to specifications, using appropriate 8 ton Hiab 218 knuckle boom crane,hand and power tools.

Day-to-day tasks also include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining cleanliness and basic care of vehicles and equipment, and completing required delivery and installation documentation.



The team member collaborates closely with site supervisors to ensure efficient job completion, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 3Q air endorsed driver’s license with clean driving record and experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Proficiency with basic construction and installation tasks, including safe use of hand and power tools for precast concrete or similar products.
- Knowledge of workplace and road safety practices, including PPE use, load securing, and adherence to company safety policies.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with supervisors, and clients on site.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to detail in following installation plans, measurements, and quality standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full time schedules that may include early start times.
- Previous experience in construction, precast concrete, or steel installation is an asset.
- Knuckle boom crane experience is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant technical or trade training considered an advantage.
