They will participate in a variety of activities including project workflow,



jobsite safety and projectcloseout.ResponsibilitiesVerify that building materials meet engineering specifications.Assist PM/Estimating with:Estimating/biddingBuyout and scoping of subcontractors and vendorsWriting subcontractsObtaining permitsMaintain good relations with the project team, including Owner, Project Manager, Estimator, Project Coordinator, Superintendent, and Subcontractors.Assist in project quality and controlParticipate in jobsite safety including meetings, walks, and other related activities.Assist PM/Superintendent with issue resolutionProfessionally represent Scherrer Construction team and brandExperience RequirementsBachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in the construction industry preferred.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Possess understanding of construction terminology, processes, materials, and workflow.A general understanding of construction methods.Detail-oriented and task-focused.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees, associates, vendors, contractors, consultants, and clients.Computer proficiency using industry-standard software and applications.Must be a committed team player.
